At the start of 2014, Lourdes Rodrigo made a bucket list.
She was 35, but middle age would not weary her. This was to be a year of travel, of trying new things, of empowerment and achievement.
Along with ziplining, learning to swim and playing the ukulele, one item on the agenda was to be the subject of a professional photo shoot.
Our paths crossed while I was visiting friends in Toronto recently, and we quickly deduced that I could help cross the portraiture off the list.
Born in Sri Lanka, but raised on Canada’s east coast, Lourdes was a natural in front of the camera. We had a clear, and not too cold, Spring day to work with before running through some different looks in the studio.
I think I’ll just let her do the rest of the talking. Hasta luego Lourdes – enjoy Barcelona!
